QuantumPhunks is a culture driven evolution of the punk and phunk format built from everything that came before to create something entirely new while honoring its history. Inspired by the open source spirit that helped define the altpunk movement, we reimagined classic p(h)unk combinations on animal based characters using more than 1,500 traits while introducing new combinations, replacing weaker pairings, and constructing hundreds and hundreds of one of ones, making QuantumPhunks nearly unrecognizable from the original collections while building upon their foundations. Every stage of the creative process was guided by hands on artistic direction with extensive hand editing, custom JSON edits, and AI tools used only to execute and refine our vision. Drawing from decades of punk and phunk derivatives, memes, culture, and history, QuantumPhunks is a comprehensive 24x24 study of the p(h)unk format built to push the culture forward, expand what is possible within the format, and show what we can do when the bar is pushed to impossible levels over and over again through years of dedication, experimentation, and refinement.
